Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 frozen banana (50g)
- 1 tbsp (16g) unsweetened almond butter
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds
Instructions:
- Add liquids and powders to the blender first: pour in the almond milk, followed by the almond butter, protein powder, and chia seeds.
- Add the frozen banana chunks and frozen berries on top of the liquid mixture.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up frozen fruit, then gradually increase to high speed.
- Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a uniform deep purple, glossy, and completely smooth.
- Check consistency; if too thick, add a splash of almond milk and pulse for 5 seconds before pouring into a chilled glass.
