Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 frozen banana (50g)
  • 1 tbsp (16g) unsweetened almond butter
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Add liquids and powders to the blender first: pour in the almond milk, followed by the almond butter, protein powder, and chia seeds.
  2. Add the frozen banana chunks and frozen berries on top of the liquid mixture.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up frozen fruit, then gradually increase to high speed.
  4. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a uniform deep purple, glossy, and completely smooth.
  5. Check consistency; if too thick, add a splash of almond milk and pulse for 5 seconds before pouring into a chilled glass.
