Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) mixed frozen berries
- 1 cup (150g) frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup (120g) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp (15g) chia seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Layer the ingredients in the blender in this specific order to protect the blades: pour in the unsweetened almond milk first, followed by the plain Greek yogurt, and top with the frozen berries and mango.
- Start the blender on the lowest speed to break up the frozen fruit chunks, then gradually increase to high power. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
- If the mixture bridges or gets stuck, use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides. Check the consistency; add a splash more milk if it is too thick, or a few more frozen fruit pieces and pulse if it is too thin.
