Ingredients:
- 3 cups (420g) frozen mixed berries
- 1 medium (120g) frozen banana, sliced
- 1.5 cups (355ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 0.75 cup (170g) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp (15ml) honey or maple syrup
- 0.5 tsp (2.5g) vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Pour the unsweetened almond milk and vanilla extract into the blender base, followed by the plain Greek yogurt.
- Add the frozen banana slices and frozen mixed berries on top of the liquid ingredients to ensure a smooth vortex.
- Start the blender on the lowest speed setting to break up frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed.
- Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a swirling, vibrant purple whirlpool and completely smooth.
- Stop the blender and stir with a spoon; add an extra splash of almond milk if the consistency is too thick to pour.
