Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (420g) frozen mixed berries
  • 1 medium (120g) frozen banana, sliced
  • 1.5 cups (355ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 0.75 cup (170g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp (2.5g) vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Pour the unsweetened almond milk and vanilla extract into the blender base, followed by the plain Greek yogurt.
  2. Add the frozen banana slices and frozen mixed berries on top of the liquid ingredients to ensure a smooth vortex.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest speed setting to break up frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed.
  4. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a swirling, vibrant purple whirlpool and completely smooth.
  5. Stop the blender and stir with a spoon; add an extra splash of almond milk if the consistency is too thick to pour.
