Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) frozen cauliflower rice
- 1 medium (115g) frozen banana, broken into chunks
- 2 tbsp (15g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp (16g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 date (7g) pitted
- 3/4 cup (180ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 pinch (1g) sea salt
Instructions:
- Add ingredients to the blender in the following order: pour in the almond milk and vanilla extract, followed by the cocoa powder, peanut butter, and pitted date.
- Add the frozen cauliflower rice and frozen banana chunks on top of the liquid and powder base.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting and quickly increase to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a uniform mahogany color with no visible cauliflower specks.
- Check consistency. If too thick, blend in an additional 1 tbsp (15ml) of almond milk. For a thicker smoothie bowl consistency, add 2-3 frozen cauliflower florets and blend again.
