Ingredients:
- 2 cups (60g) baby spinach or kale
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 frozen banana (120g)
- 1/4 medium avocado (30g)
- 1 tsp (5g) fresh ginger, peeled and grated
Instructions:
- Add the almond milk, lemon juice, and spinach/kale to the blender first. Blend on high for 30 seconds until the greens are completely pulverized and no visible leafy chunks remain.
- Add the frozen banana chunks, avocado, and grated ginger.
- Blend on high for 45-60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, add an extra splash of almond milk one tablespoon at a time until velvety and glossy.
