Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (60g) baby spinach or kale
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 frozen banana (120g)
  • 1/4 medium avocado (30g)
  • 1 tsp (5g) fresh ginger, peeled and grated

Instructions:

  1. Add the almond milk, lemon juice, and spinach/kale to the blender first. Blend on high for 30 seconds until the greens are completely pulverized and no visible leafy chunks remain.
  2. Add the frozen banana chunks, avocado, and grated ginger.
  3. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, add an extra splash of almond milk one tablespoon at a time until velvety and glossy.
