Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups (225g) frozen mixed berries
  • 1 medium (120g) ripe banana, frozen in chunks
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 0.75 cup (170g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (15g) almond butter
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 0.5 tsp (2.5g) vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Layer the ingredients in the blender in the following order: liquids first, followed by the Greek yogurt and almond butter, then the chia seeds, and finally the frozen berries and banana on top.
  2. Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed for 45–60 seconds until a consistent rotating wave (smoothie swirl) forms in the center.
  3. Check the consistency; if too thick, add another 1/4 cup (60ml) of almond milk and blend briefly. For a spoonable bowl consistency, add 3–4 ice cubes and blend for an additional 20 seconds.
