Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla whey or plant-based protein powder
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
- 1 medium frozen banana (approx. 120g), broken into chunks
- 1 tbsp (16g) creamy almond butter
Instructions:
- Pour the almond milk into the blender jar first to ensure the blades move freely and prevent powder from sticking.
- Add the almond butter, vanilla extract, and frozen banana chunks to the blender.
- Top with the protein powder and a pinch of sea salt to ensure the powder is pushed down into the liquid.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting and quickly ramp up to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
