Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla whey or plant-based protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
  • 1 medium frozen banana (approx. 120g), broken into chunks
  • 1 tbsp (16g) creamy almond butter

Instructions:

  1. Pour the almond milk into the blender jar first to ensure the blades move freely and prevent powder from sticking.
  2. Add the almond butter, vanilla extract, and frozen banana chunks to the blender.
  3. Top with the protein powder and a pinch of sea salt to ensure the powder is pushed down into the liquid.
  4. Start the blender on the lowest setting and quickly ramp up to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
